Who is Maaz Sadaqat:
The youngest of the four brothers, Maaz was naturally drawn to the game thanks to his upbringing in Peshawar, a city known for its cricket frenzy. It was at local clubs and school competitions, where his precocity was evident from early on, that he first came across a cricket bat. Recognizing his ability, coaches and mentors began urging him to take the game seriously and he earned selection to regional under-19 teams.

Maaz’s cricketing career took a big leap forward when he appeared in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under-19 side. It came against Central Punjab under-19s, on 12 October 2019, in the 2019–20 PCB National Under-19s One Day Tournament. Of that match, he would make a splash at the national level with a five-wicket haul and give a glimpse of his promise with the ball.
He was the leading run-scorer for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the National Under-19s One Day Tournament of 2020–21, with 363 runs, which he scored one century.
